Molly Scott is a sixteen year old secondary school student from Hacketstown Co. Carlow; Molly is a member of St. Laurence O’Toole AC.
Molly specialises in sprint hurdles and short sprints, her successes to date include:
Irish Indoor Championships 2016 Girls U18 60m Gold Medallist and new National Youth Record and tying the National Junior Record of 7.42 seconds. Girls U18 60m hurdles Gold medallist and new National Youth Record of 8.33 seconds

Irish School Championships 2013, Junior Girls 75m Hurdles & 100m Gold Medallist, Inter Girls 80m hurdles Gold Medallist 2014 & 2015
All England Age Group Championships 2013 – 2015 Molly has won a total of four Gold medals, one Silver medal and one Bronze Medal indoor and outdoor at the UK Juvenile Championships
Athletics Ireland & Leinster Athletics, Molly has won numerous titles and holds national & provincial records in the hurdles and sprints indoor and outdoor from 2010 – 2016
As part of her athletic development Molly joined London based club Blackheath & Bromley AC several years ago this enables her to compete in UK events and gain further experience in the sprint events.
For the coming 2016 Athletic Season Molly’s goals include medalling in the 100m hurdles at the European Youth Championships and competing at the World Junior Championships as part of the women’s 4x100m relay.
When she's not competing or training Molly likes to relax at home with her two dogs (Charlie & Digger) and listen to her favourite music, “Justin Bieber” and “The 1975”.
Her favourite food is her Mam's chicken curry, and she loves a Costa coffee.
